The Ugliest Vintage Brooch of All-Time Is Now Available For Purchase in Le Crap!

Fashion

This is the ugliest brooch I have ever seen.  It was given to me as gift in the mid-1980s and I have never worn it.  Though it may seem odd, even though it is wretched I have never been able to part with it.  Every few years I pick it up, look at it, ponder why anyone would have ever made something that looks like this and then put it safely back in a box filled with other awful things from the 1980s and forget about it for a few more years.  The years pass as years will, and now it is an ugly vintage brooch!

You see it is so ugly that I felt it deserved some sort of special designation and frankly, I’ve felt protective.  Maybe my therapist would say I identify with the brooch, but I prefer to say that there is a dreadful little waffle-textured brooch inside of each of us.

I have been doing some work for Bulgari and have spent the last few days looking at some of the most stunning, valuable, and well-designed pieces of jewelry ever made and I just got burned out.  Staring at this piece is the antitheses of staring at a Bulgari brooch and to tell you the truth, it’s as refreshing as sherbet between courses.

Now that Christmas is upon us, it seemed like the propitious time to let go.  The photo is so very detailed that I don’t feel like much description is necessary, other than to say it is about the size of a half dollar and looks like a cookie with faceted plastic artlessly embedded in it and a fake silver chain drizzled carelessly about like icing.  It is in absolutely perfect condition to the extent that the word “perfect” and this brooch should ever commingle in a sentence.

For a limited time only, I am prepared to sell this horrible trinket for just $23.00!  If you click on the hyper-link below you will be transported to my Etsy store, Le Crap, which has other strange things to buy, though nothing nearly as unattractive as this brooch (yet).  It is so ugly in fact, that I think “brooch” is far to grand a word and I would be much clearer if I just call it what it is: an ugly little pin that I am trying to sell for $23.o0 (plus shipping and handling).
